Who doesn’t own at least one pair of jeans? Boot-cut, thin jeans, flares, bell-bottoms and straight are all kinds of jeans now available. Even how you wear them, below the waist and revealing the undies, is slowly making a name.

Jeans are trousers which are made of only 1 sort of material – denim. They were originally made for work purposes as they’re sturdy, relatively inexpensive and comfy to wear.

They are now a seriously popular item of clothing for men and women alike. Famous brands have created additional cuts so that everybody can find 2 jeans that not only flatter their figure but are also keeping in with the most recent fashion trends.

Jeans were often seen only in the one colour : blue but now more shades are finding their way into the mix which includes, black, white, pink and yellow. By accident, one cut of jeans were ‘discovered’ after a flooding in a hotel room. The ‘pre-shrunk’ jeans were born in the 1970’s just after Hal Burgess marketed ‘pre-washed’ jeans for the 1st time.

Jeans can be discovered with copper beefing up buttons, name tags on the pockets or waist band, heavily stitched pockets and hems and with zipper or button fasteners down the front.
