Clash of the Titans Expected as Adobe Prepares to Sue Apple

While rumour has it that Adobe is planning to drag Apple to the court, no official announcements or moves have been made so far. The entire IT community and the authorities are carefully watching the feud simmering between the two IT giants. Whether Apple becomes the target of an anti- trust suit with its monopolistic move over mobile applications is yet to be seen.

The problems between the two companies has its origin in the usage of Flash by the developers who are working on creating iPhone and iPad applications. Apple has barred the usage of Flash on its applications.

Apple’s pre-empted move comes as Adobe brought out its latest Creative Suite software that enables developers to create the basic applications for iPad and iPhones using Flash and convert the files at the final stage into the code used by the iPad platform. Apple has introduced a clause barring the usage of platforms and language other than the native platform approved for iPad and iPhone applications.

While Adobe is said to be preparing to drag Apple to the court, it has also quoted that its team is studying the SDK language and is tight lipped on when it will take further action.
