Hairspray is the story of an excited youngster named Tracy Turnblad, a wannabe performer who wishes to earn a position on a local television programme called the Corny Collins Show. The programme is actually based on a Baltimore-based telly show referred to as the Buddy Dean Show in Baltimore, Maryland.

Tracy is unfamiliar in the performing arts world when she auditions, nevertheless she is picked for a spot and with long odds she becomes a dancing superstar practically overnight. I love the show and wish they could stay on a great deal longer. Ben Ellis is exceptional as link & Leanne Jones as Tracey & Michael Ball, well they are all spectacular. The show hairspray is easily my favourite, simply because it is optimistic and if you’re feeling gloomy then it is certain to make you feel a whole lot better.
