3 Ways to Increase HGH (Human Growth Hormone) Amounts in Your Body

Filed under: Better Nutrition @ 6:53 am

HGH has been touted lately for it’s anti-aging possibilities. The amount of HGH in our body peaks in our early 20’s and goes down drastically from that point. Many people are rejuvenating themselves, and swearing by the results, by increasing HGH into their system

There are three delivery systems that add HGH into the system: homeopathic sublingual sprays, pharmaceutical injections, or pills that stimulate the release of HGH from the pituitary gland. With all three choices the goal is the same: to raise the measurable IGF-1 levels in the body in order to gain the youthful benefits. The short discussion below on all three therapies will help you discover which protocol is right for you.

Human Growth Hormone Pills:

When you buy a pill form of HGH you should know right up front that there is no HGH in the product. Read the ingredients. There are only stacked amino acids and other assorted stimulants. Even though the product name might be “HGH Releasor,” or “HGH Precursor,” there is no HGH in the product. It works by stimulating your Pituitary Gland into producing more HGH.

There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that it actually works. The bad news is that it only works for 4-8 weeks. Then your over-stimulated Pituitary Gland says, “no mas,” and stops being stimulated. It’s really a terrible tease because just when you start saying to yourself, “hey this is great,” everything shuts down. Just when you realize what you’ve been missing, you lose it again.

Additionally, I was scared away from this therapy by reports that taking stacked amino “growth hormone pills” can raise cortisol levels in your body, which is extremely unhealthy. So the choice then came down to putting the actual hormone into my body by way of shots or via oral sprays.

Human Growth Hormone Shots:

Almost all the HGH sites will tell you that the cost for shots ranges between $10,000 and $20,000 per year. It doesn’t. You can easily find it available for around $3,000 per year and even lower if you go through Mexican pharmaceuticals. Needles today are very safe and generally painless.

But sticking myself twice a day, twenty days per month, didn’t seem like a routine a healthy person should be doing, no matter how quick and easy it is. Call me squeamish if you like, I don’t care. This might suit some people, and if it does, you can consider going for it. Not me.

Those taking HGH injections should be aware that a few problems have been reported with “high” or “over” dosages, so anyone using this protocol would be wise to be clinically monitored on a regular basis by a physician.

HGH Oral Spray:

So the HGH spray option was the one I chose, especially considering the fact that I didn’t know if the product would deliver what retailers were claiming. It seemed to be the most benign, risk free, gentle, therapy that produced excellent results, and was reasonably priced between $500 and $1250 per year.

The amounts of herbal and nutritional contents listed on a product label can be most misleading. What’s important is not the nutritional content listed on the label, but rather how much of that nutrient is actually absorbed into the cells of the body. Sprays provide excellent absorption when micro-sized beads or droplets of a nutrient are taken into the body through the tissue lining of the mouth or nose. Blood capillaries are extremely close to the surface in these areas and readily absorb HGH into the bloodstream. The flow of absorbed nutrients from this area of the mouth is to the Carotid Artery, then to the brain, and then on to the heart within 22 to 30 seconds. Within minutes, it is totally dispersed throughout the body.

As far as which spray is the best, it’s my belief that if and when independent clinical trials are made of all the spray products they will all basically be close in effectiveness. They all contain the same amounts of Somatrophin (Human Growth Hormone). Some add a little bit of female this, some add a little bit of male that. I chose the one I thought was most homeopathically prepared because I knew more care would have been taken in its manufacturing and it would probably be more gentle on my system.

Learn as much as you can about Human Growth Hormone and make your own decision about which way you want to go. No matter what age you begin taking HGH you will enjoy the results.

The Truth About Vitamin Deficiencies

Filed under: Better Nutrition @ 1:44 am

Here in America, and in many other countries, there is a wide selection of healthy nutritious foods available to the general public. The Food And Drug Administration (FDA) regularly states, as do many professionals in the nutrition sector, that Americans can get all the vitamins and minerals they need for good health from a diet comprised of these foods. They say that supplementation with vitamins is not needed for most people.

However, almost everyday we hear or read about someone whose health has suffered because of a “vitamin deficiency” of some sort or another! How can this be happening? Is the FDA lying to us? Is there something wrong that we don’t know about?

Here’s just a few points to consider.

Let’s take an average American, or citizen of England, Germany, France. Let’s take you.

What did YOU eat for breakfast yesterday? How about lunch and dinner? What snacks did YOU have? Did you smoke or drink alcohol? Are you pregnant, nursing, or overweight?

So, breakfast (if you ate any at all) was a bowl of cold cereal with milk or some toast with coffee, there was that candy bar halfway through the morning, then for lunch, you went to McDonald’s…you get the picture, right?

I’m sure that before fixing or selecting each meal, you took a look at the FDA’s food pyramid…what’s that? Oh, you’ve got it memorized and always select the proper number and size of portions throughout the day. Right! Well, maybe you at least counted calories and checked the nutritional labels… Oh, you…er…didn’t do that either, huh?

Do you see my point?

The nutritional elements we need ARE probably there in the foods available to us, but the choices we make, and the knowledge we have, are not the choices we should be making.

But who has the time, or the will-power, to lug around a copy of some book on nutrition, or memorize calorie charts, or check the menu against them even if we had them? I don’t, and I bet that you don’t either.

Maybe that’s why we see people with vitamin deficiencies!

How about this one?

We’re all different, and we have different eating patterns, or we don’t have a lot of money, so we eat a lot of starchy food (carbs…very bad carbs), or we just never learned that much about nutrition.

Tell you what! Let’s try to eat all the foods we need to eat to get all the natural nutrition we need. What’s that? You tried that, and gained weight because it required you to eat so many calories?

What if you are trying to lose weight? Maybe you are eating a healthy diet, but you are restricting or avoiding certain foods. Maybe you are also avoiding some of the vitamins and minerals you need.

How about the food itself? Has that radish or apple been processed or stored so long that it may have lost some of it’s nutritional value?

That smoking and drinking thing: Did you know that smoking and drinking actually interfere with your body’s ability to process or effectively use some essential vitamins?

It seems as if it’s a losing battle. Actually, there are a lot of things that someone can do to make sure they get all the vitamins and minerals they need. Knowing something about nutrition is good, planning meals or selecting carefully from the menu based on nutrition is good, and so is getting the proper amount of exercise and rest. But, it seems plain to me that making sure you are getting the appropriate amounts of the various vitamins and minerals can be difficult the way we live our lives today.

Recommendation? Take a daily multivitamin supplement…just to be safe. A bottle of vitamins doesn’t cost much, but it can potentially head off major and minor health problems in you and your family.

Unusual Bridesmaid’s Gifts To Make Your Bridesmaids Feel Special

Filed under: Universe Of Relationships @ 7:43 am

A wedding day is a very special, in fact unique, day for the bride and groom, and for close family and friends, especially those who play a part in the ceremony, such as the bridesmaids. In most cases, the bridesmaids do get a fair amount of attention as part of the supporting cast, and it is usual for bridesmaids gifts to be given as a memento of the occasion.

As bride and groom, though, you may want to say a big thank you to the bridesmaids and do something a bit special for them. So, you may be considering an unusual bridesmaids’ gift to show them their role was more important to you than they may have thought; and, that they are not and will not be forgotten.

Wanting to give an unusual bridesmaid gift is one thing, but finding one is a different matter altogether. However, maybe “finding” is not the right way to go about it. You want to thank the bridesmaids for their support on your special wedding day, so why not thank them by arranging something special for them, in which they, not you, are the focus of attention?

What you do will, of course, depend on budget, and what you think the bridesmaids will all appreciate. Here are just a few ideas for unusual bridesmaids’ gifts that you could arrange.

Bridesmaids’ Bash

On the wedding day itself, you probably had a reception and maybe a disco or some form of entertainment for the wedding guests. Again, the stars of the show were you, the bride and groom. One sure way to show appreciation is for you to stand aside and bring the bridesmaids to the fore, to feel very special and appreciated.

One thing you could do is to arrange a Bridesmaids Bash, a party arranged just for them. If you are going away for a honeymoon, would it not be nice to get back home, and a few days latter have a special party organised for the bridesmaids Of course, you can give them a small memento also, but as the main, and unusual, bridesmaids gift, a fun bash in which they are the focus, could go down really well.

Bridesmaids’ Beauty Binge

There is no doubt that almost every bride and groom goes to great lengths to look their best on the wedding day; the same is true of the bridesmaids. There is also no doubting that girls and young women across the bridesmaid age group do feel special when they are having a lot of attention being paid to their health and beauty.

For an unusual bridesmaids’ gift, how about negotiating with a local parlour for a group beauty session for all the bridesmaids? It would be fun for them to go together a couple of weeks after the wedding, and have a makeover, pedicure, manicure, new hairdo, massage; whatever you can afford to make a fuss of them for an hour or two, or three.

Bridesmaids’ Bloat Out

Another bridesmaid gift idea that is a bit unusual is, rather than the full Bridesmaids’ Bash, take them all out for a special meal a week or two after the wedding. This idea is not for those on a diet, but as they are all young and probably in good shape, some sort of feast, a Bridesmaids’ Bloat Out, could be a good idea. It is best to sound them out in advance, so you can choose a venue they will all be delighted with, whatever their age.

To make it special, you could arrange for a local florist, or the establishment manager, to deliver flowers, or some other gift, to the table. A little bit of imagination could make this a fun occasion to all and give the bridesmaids the special attention they deserve.

Filed under: Universe Of Relationships @ 11:44 pm

Wedding gifts are a wonderful way for you to show your appreciation and caring for the newly wed couple. However it is hard to feel passionate about another blender or toaster. Buy the latest kitchen gadget or home décor item might be easy but it is not very unique and says that you hardly thought of the couple. However if you purchase a unique wedding gift that stands out from the others the couple will always remember the thoughtful gift.

Below are some easy ideas that you can get for unique wedding gifts.

Unique Wedding Gifts for the Couple

All of these gifts can be shared by both the bride and groom and most of them create very nice memories of the wedding day. These unique wedding gifts are something that will hopefully sustain them through some of the rockier times later in their marriage.

Photo Quilts – These have become very popular gift items and can be found almost anywhere online and also locally if you do a little searching. These items are a lot of fun as you can imagine the newly wed couple curled up together on the couch under a blanket with their own pictures on it. What a great way to truly celebrate the couple. You simply need anywhere between 1 to 45 good quality photos that can either be printed or in digital format. You can send these in to the company and in just a few days you will get back a beautiful quilt. One fun way to do this is take pictures of botht he bride and groom and their respective families. Then use the pictures to show the uniting of two families.

Another fun idea that a photo quilt can be used for is as a guest book. Yes, that’s right a guest book. Simple hang the quilt where guests will be entering before the ceremony and provide some nice sharpie permanent markers. Have everyone leave a unique and personalized message.

Personalize Photo Pillow – Can’t you just see it now a wonderful photo pillow on the newly wed couples bed? You send in your favorite picture of the bride and groom and it gets turned into a unique custom wedding gift pillow. How is that for personalized!

Family Portrait Platters- you have probably all seen those cartoonists that will do caricatures of people at a local street fair or some other big gathering. Well a family photo platter takes this idea and makes it into a very unique wedding gift. You can pick the skin color, hair color and basic body types to represent each person in the family. These make wonderfully unique gifts that everyone is sure to enjoy.

Custom Wedding Cake Toppers – Want to go all out and give a unique wedding gift. Try a custom wedding cake topper. You send in pictures of the couple including images of their clothes and or activities that they like to do and a sculptor will make a custom wedding cake topper based on your input. Just make sure you work this out with the wedding planner and bride before spending the money. These are typically done in polymer clay and will last forever.

These are just a few of the many of great ideas for unique wedding gifts. It is very popular and thoughtful to give something that has been personalized and this is something to consider as you search for your unique gift. Adding the personalization shows that you have taken the time to think about the newly weds and their likes and dislikes and not just gotten a stock out of the store mass produced gift.

Whatever unique wedding gift you choose an important key it to plan ahead. You do not want to try and do any of the above ideas the day before the wedding. To make a gift personalized can take some time and you will want to leave two or more weeks to get the gift done. So plan ahead, be creative and have fun with your wedding gift and you are sure to end up with something they will remember and cherish forever. Much better then just another toaster that will get returned.

Creativity and Innovation Management – the Value of Challenge

Filed under: School of Self Improvement @ 9:09 pm

Creativity can be defined as problem identification and idea generation whilst innovation can be defined as idea selection, development and commercialisation.

There are other useful definitions in this field, for example, creativity can be defined as consisting of a number of ideas, a number of diverse ideas and a number of novel ideas.

There are distinct processes that enhance problem identification and idea generation and, similarly, distinct processes that enhance idea selection, development and commercialisation. Whilst there is no sure fire route to commercial success, these processes improve the probability that good ideas will be generated and selected and that investment in developing and commercialising those ideas will not be wasted.

Money doesn’t do it

Challenge and the expansion of competencies figure highly in the realm of motivation. Most people require challenging work if only to prevent boredom.

The Eastern perception of creativity identifies challenge as a part of self-actualisation – the individual is moving toward his or her ideal self.

Competency expansion is positively correlated with a feeling of self-actualisation.

Competency expansion directly addresses problem solving, in that it gives the individual a problem to resolve that is beyond that individual’s present capability, and thus indices the problem solving state, or in other words, the creative state.
